Two great things came out of the Boston collapse: It takes everyone's attention away from the 2007 and 2008 Mets collapses. Secondly, it makes this NESN article even more hilarious. Keep in mind this was written in Jan. 2011 when people were starting to think that Boston would take the AL East...

Brewers are up 2-0 on the Diamondbacks so hopefully they can close out the series tonight.

Wow so both NL series are going to head to 5 games (if Arizona hangs on to their lead) and the Yankees/Tigers has a game 5 tomorrow.

Been gone for while.... wasn't ducking the awful September. Should be an interesting off season here.
I hope the fans in this town can regroup after that. My goodness it's been a whole four months since Boston has won a major sports championship.
Anyway... I only hope the LCS's are as good as the LDS's. Combine the first round with the final night of the season.... WOW! What great drama!

I don't know about the suits that worry about the money. All I know is that I am grateful to see some new blood contending. I'd like to see a Milwaukee v. Detroit Series.
