Are you a DOCTOR WHO fan?

If so, you may find this interesting:

The BBC is auctioning off at Bonham's the costumes from the current series for Rose Piper, Mickey Smith, Donna Noble, Astrid Perth and Martha Jones. You can even bid on the Torchwood ranger (sorry, the 200 double-decker bus from the Planet of the Dead Easter Special has been pulled from the auction). There's a ton of stuff from the original series: Daleks, Cybermen, Sea Devil, Kandyman, Marshman, Gundan Warrior Robot, and other costumes and props from the show dating back to the 1970's. Here's the website:

I'm actually trying to get into it as we speak. I'm downloading the series where the Tenth Doctor was in it up until the episode before the Eleventh comes in.

I'll have to pass that website along to my oldest brother - he was a big Doctor Who fan a while back and might get a kick out of looking at the old memorabilia for sale...

The revival series fifth season starts this coming up weekend in the UK on BBC 1. For those fans in the USA, it will be broadcast on BBC America starting April 17th. The fifth season - starring the new "Doctor" Matt Smith - begins with the episode titled "The Eleventh Hour".

HAHAH Good one. But I did watch series one and I really enjoyed the Ninth Doctor. I saw the first two episodes of series two (including the first special) and I adore the Tenth. I have a long way to go until I hit the Eleventh.

The second series (Tennant's first) brought back Sarah Jane Smith, who was a traveling companion to both the third and fourth incarnations. Her re-appearance in the new series lead to her own spin-off - the Sarah Jane Adventures - which has been greenlighted by the BBC for a fourth & fifth series. The spin-off series has featured some aliens from the original series - the Slitheen and the Sontarans - and the third season also featured a guest star appearance by David Tennant himself.

I also have Torchwood lined up to watch as well. Someone gave me a format to how I'm supposed to watch it so once I'm not so tied up with school, I can finally watch again.

I used to love watching Dr. Who many many many years ago. I haven't seen it in many many years, but maybe I'll look it up again. I used to get such a kick out of the cheesy special effects.... Is it still like that?

No cheesy special effects anymore. The show is done on a better quality nowadays.

elizabethswann: here's a suggestion - before you get to the final three episodes of series four you should watch Torchwood and some of the Sarah Jane episodes. The series four finale episodes features a cross-over of the other two spin-off series. In fact, about every character in all four years comes back for the final episodes of series 4!

Also, there's a five minutes between the end of the first series and the christmas special about the regeneration that was featured exclusively in BBC TV charity. You may be able to find it on Youtube. They did the same thing between the end of the third series and the "Voyage of the darn". It starred Peter Davison from the original series as the fifth incarnation of the Doctor.

I have yet to check out the Sarah Jane show so I will look into it. This is the format I was given:

Doctor Who series 1
Doctor Who series 2
Torchwood series 1
Doctor Who series 3
Torchwood series 2
Doctor Who series 4
Torchwood series 3 (aka children of earth)
