I don't think they even show it over here, so no.

Yes! I totally agree!!!! Any televised parade is like that...I like it when they announce who it is, but then I just want to enjoy it!mindflipper wrote:THANK YOU!!!! I am so glad I'm not alone! Same with the Macy's Parade too. These people think they're play-by-play announcing for a football game! I wish they could just shut up!MmeLeota wrote:Sometimes I wish they would just be quiet during the parade parts so you can hear it...
We went to the Tournament of Roses parade about 5 years ago and it was wonderful to simply enjoy it...however, we didn't know who was on what floats, so we missed that aspect.

What really sucks, is it's all taped in Oct. Nov!!!! I remember when I was a CP and while it was still 90 degrees out they would have Mandy Moore and other performers were all bundled up like it was 30 outside!!! I felt so bad for them!

So far I about 2/3 through the parade. I have noticed numerous issues with it. The aerial shots were not looked at close enough since they are showing some backstage areas like the Monorail barn. The sequence of angles does not flow properly which is seen by the buildings/stores that are next to the parade floats from each angle. I might be paranoid, but these are some of the things that really grind my gears.

I watched it. I have to say, last years was better because they showed a lot of footage from previous years Xmas parades. I especially enjoyed the parts of the parade last year where they showed people who voiced characters from all the greats. Example: The woman who was the voice of Ariel sang LIVE...I just think thats better than the Jonas Brothers
