Read this and think of how exciting this could be:

Imagine you're just driving down the highway and the ground just disappears!! Now that's exciting!!

It is a great idea that could add a good twist to things. HOWEVER, I seriously doubt disney would give you something that ends with you falling into a big hole in the ground. It just doesn't have that happily ever after thing going for it.

Maybe dinosaurs live in the big hole? I just watched Ice Age 3 and that's what happened on there.

They do have Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. It ends with you going to Hell. I can't imagine that being a happily ever after ending.

It could incorporate Journey to the Center of the Earth. I know there is an Indiana Jones like ride already in Tokyo for the movie, but something on this side of the pacific could be a little different. The ground swallows you up and you fall into this mysterious cavern full of prehistoric mushrooms and dinosaurs.

CORRECTION: They DID have Mr. Toad's Wild Ride - but no longer. Maybe the hellish ending was the reason they killed? Replaced it with a ride that did have a happy ending?

Oops - forgot that. Or at least, it's there for now. Wanna bet Disney is working on some idea to replace it?

And neither have a happy ending - one ends in hell, and the other ends where it begins.

We've been all commenting on Len's remark:

We're just pointing out that not all rides have a happy ending. They just end...and with Toad not so happily (in hell).
