Me neither...and I missed the end of the game when all the good stuff happened! The last time I had seen the score, it was 5-4 Phillies...dang! Final score was 8-6 right?

The final was 8-6, but it didn't feel that close at the end. After the 5th, it never seemed like LA was really in it anymore. If LA would have gotten the 2 out hit with a man on second, it would have been a completely different game.

Well, then I guess I don't feel so bad. It stinks for my postseason game I was playing though...I really thought the Dodgers were going to take game 1. Oh well....

So, do you think there will be an Angels/Yankees game tonight? I hear it's supposed to rain...oh the torture!!!!

I really think they will get it in. Looking at NYC's weather...is it going to rain or snow? I'm so glad I don't live in NY anymore!!! The Sunny South...mmmmm good!

Yeah that is what I said when I saw it happen. It was a great game and I am just happy that it is finally over. 5 hours and 10 minutes is just too long. Also, if that game went any longer it was going to get tough for the Yankees as to who is going to pitch and the conditions were just deteriorating fast there.

It was a tough one for Angels fans. I personally feel though that this series might be over sooner than later. The Angels have a tough fight now to try getting back into this series... especially after losing this game. They were up in the 11th until Mr. October himself tied it up on the 0-2 count. I am personally surprised that Fuentes still went after him when up 0-2 in the count. It's not impossible, but it's not easy. The Red Sox did it in the 2003 ALCS when down in Game 4 and looking as if they were about to get swept. It should be an interesting week of baseball ahead.

I find it's amazing that the Angels are making so many errors. This has been a team that during the regular season played really clean baseball. If they can right the ship and stop all the errors I think they can take the Yankees.

I am a huge Angels fan, and I still have hope (especially since were headed home now and we always draw strength from the home crowd)...however, I have seen this happen before. The choke. Thay play great ball all season long, make a season out of being the comeback kids and POOF! it's the offseason and we look as if we've never played before.
Last year was the prime example: The Angels and Cubs battled all season for the best record in baseball...we all thought it would be the year. We got swept by the Red Sox in the first round of postseason games (so did the Cubs..sorry, hubby). I know they clinched early last year and I think that's what led to their demise....

For now, I'm keeping my head up and hoping that the lousy display in NYC was because of the cold, rainy weather.

I may be jumping the gun, but it looks like a Philly New York WS! I think it's gonna take a miracle for the Angels! That makes me so glad football and hockey are in full swing!! Go GATORS, Go RANGERS!!! LOL!
