Find out the gender, if you ask me. Plus if you dont, then all the gifts you get are gonna be pretty bland

The baby shower will definatly be easier knowing the sex, My brothers having one in a month and they dont want to know the sex, so were forced to get ganerically coloerd gifts. It becomes very Blah... Although the baby really isn't going to care if somthing is blue or pink. Any rate Good Luck and congrats again. Brice

Also when think of a name think to yourself "paging Doctor _____" so that way the first name isn't messed up. Also think of the kid in later life can they pick a nickname or did you give the kid a name like bill instead of william, you can always call the kid what you like buy think of other kids making fun of him or her. I know a kid in my sons class his name is baby now who in there right mind names a kid baby?
I appreciate the input! We're striving to find names that aren't too exotic, but aren't on the "top 100" lists, either. Unique, but not too unique, you know?

As for "baby," those parents have doomed that child to ten years of name calling and aggravation.
Here is an example of not common but sounds great
My daughters name is
Sianna Eryn
Now if she wants a nick name she has some choices Ann, Anna, or Eryn
See ow eryn isn't spelt like the common erin
and my Sons name is
Adryan Thomas

Now if later in life he wants a nick name he could use Ryan, Tom, or Thomas

HURRAY!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! You must be thrilled...I'd like to make a suggestion about the sex of the baby. I have three children and decided not to find out with any of them. I must say I was SOOO tempted at the ultrasound, but my husband actually convinced me not to. Think about it, there are so few TRUE surprises in life!! Aside from clothing, and possibly the nursery "theme", it really makes no difference when it comes to planning and things you need. You can stay "neutral" with things until the baby comes and then get nuts with the pinks or blues!
Just my 2 cents... Oh yes, and Disney with kids IS a whole new experience, it's true! ENJOY!!

Thanks for your advice! We've got a TON of decisions to make, and this is one of the biggest.

Are you kidding I have 5 kids oldest will be 11 and the youngest will be 1. my wife had 3 kids from her first marrage and when we found out she was pregnant with our first everyone told us go get married shes pregnant. But I didn't want to go and marry someone just because of a kids its the wrong reason, we said if we are still together in 5 years than we'll get married. Its been 5 years and we have another kid and I told her I wanted the wedding on 05/05/05 which is funny because it is the same exact day disney picked to start the 50th bash. What a day.

Crap its now only 2 weeks away. I think I should be Nervis

Wow that is great news! Hope your wife is feeling good and has a great pregnancy!

We knew the sex with just our first and were surprised with our subsequent kids - it's fun either way! :D
