Comic Con San Diego

Will subsonic have a presence there this summer? Anyone other members going?

I was thinking about it, but then I realized I will already be returning from LA at that time and I will be out of vacation days. I usually hit the New York one every year but missed this year due to illness. It is always fun to go, and I want to go to San Diego so many times but never had the time or sometimes the money. Oh well maybe next year I can hit it.

I wish I were there. I've never been to Comic Con ever in my life and I have always wanted to go simply because I need to embrace my geek side better.

I don't believe that subsonic has ever advertised SR at any kind of event, besides the meets at DLR by people wearing the T-Shirts...

I advertise us all the time. When ever I get a chance to promote the site I take it. I have, I hope, helped many folks find this site. If they don't come to the forums they at least listen to the streams. In fact I think I am wearing a Subsonic shirt now........Indeed I am, no this isn't me being a geek the shirt was just on top of the pile in the drawer, just a lucky coincidence.

I said "subsonic" hasn't advertised at big events like Comic Con... that's all. I never said anything about Dr. Ravenscroft...

I hoping to go next year, though I must admit my first thought about the trip wasn't "Gee, I'll represent Subsonic!". It'd be interesting to see how many con-going members we have. Maybe there could be a non-parks meet up someday.
