No, not Subsonic Radio. My arm! I broke my friggin' arm! So in case anyone on IRC wonders where I am during the next day or two (I hope that's all), that's why I'm not around. My wife's making me rest and recuperate.
It's up near the shoulder - hairline fracture, but it hurts like a bastard if I move my arm a certain way. Can't believe I broke it. Son of a ....

Hope it heals up quick. I've only broken a finger so far and that was enough for me.

Feeling halfway decent today, though I'm pretty bruised. Taking a shower and getting dressed was interesting. My hands still work, so I can still type! That's important.
I was at work, walking between a couple of dumpsters when I slipped on some moss on asphalt that's at a 45° angle (one dumpster is short so it's on higher ground and there's a slope between them). I briefly went airborne and landed on my side. Then the swearing commenced and people came running. Then I sat around, feeling like I was going to spew, and feeling a little light-headed until my boss took me to urgent care.
I'm too old for this. I need a desk job.

That's terrible, Darren. My best wishes for a speedy recovery.
"Trash can trauma"... could be a good name for a reality TV show. Like a spinoff of "Trauma: Life in the ER" on TLC.

Actually, if you google "Trash Can Trauma" it'll come up with hits for a Halloween prop that scares people.

Ha ha! Everyone has got to check this out! Darren, I think subsonic has found a fitting tribute to your injury:

That's hilarious! I like how the effect is accompanied by a horn blast. So if the zombie doesn't scare you, there's always the horn.

I just broke my left pinky finger on Wednesday night. and mine was kinda stupid too. word of advise, take a minute to wake up before getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. otherwise, if your blood pressure is too low, you could pass out after going...
this is the first bone I've ever broken on top of it all...

BTW, I'm moving this thread over to Off Topic as it really doesn't fit the "Disney-Related" section...

We need to buy Darren one of those "Help, I fallen and can't get up!" devices. LOL.
Seriously that sucks, but the pain killers rock! Bring on the Vicodin!
