Baseball!!!

Anyone else love them some baseball? I can't wait for next week! Opening day should be a national holiday.

We call it HOT DOG day!!!! Another season and the grass is new again!! Being a Braves fan, well I just can't wait till we blow it in October!! GO BRAVES!!

Looks like we won't be able to talk again. Hopefully the Mets will not have a third major collapse. I'm first getting over the one from 2007 and have yet to start coping with the 2008 collapse. My son started baseball practice....He is only 8 though and I'm excited for him! It was only 46 degrees outside the other night when they had practice for 1 1/2 hrs.

I remember when my son (now 15) started baseball at that very same age!! That's the best baseball in the world. Enjoy it as much as possible! Take lots of pictures and remember it doesn't last forever! Those were some of the happiest times! Len90, sorry about your mets collapsing I have much sympathy. The Phillies used to collapse all the time, but now we at least have an average - above average team. That is all I ever wanted, a team that could win more games in a season then they loose.

The problem with the NL east is that we beat on each other so badly during the season, there's not a lot left in the tank by the end of the year. I am very excited for baseball season. Can't wait to see how the new (and very expensive) Yankees perform. I think we are going to "de-throne" the Sox from AL East champs. Go Yankees!
