Anyone into college basketball on here?

My University of Washington Huskies are headed there for the first time in awhile (after winning their first PAC 10 conference title EVER) and we are SO stoked up here!

Who are you rooting for? Is anyone going to any of the games?

Well, I am just waiting for selection sunday to fill out my brackets. I have a lot of careful analysis to do then and see just who I feel will go all the way.

I've never been a fan of basketball. it's hockey here, and it March to the Playoffs time... only about 12 games left in the regular season, then it's the playoffs. the Cup finals will be here soon enough as well. then, we'll have to wait until October for the start of the 2009-2010 season...

I'm with you js3901 and Jacca, grew up in a hockey family here! We cheer for the Black Hawks, even though I will most likely never see them the Cup in my lifetime. But, can't a fair weather fan.

If I had to pick a college team guess who it would be?!?! GO BOILERS!!!

I will be heading to the East Regional Semis and Finals in Boston on 3/26 and 3/28. I have no rooting interest but love the atmosphere of college championship tournaments. In 2004 I went to the Frozen Four went it came to Boston. That was a great take. I am hoping this is just as good if not better. I've been to first and second round games before but not a game that had a trip to the Final Four on the line. I can only imagine the excitement.

Are you kidding me, jacca? The Rangers last won, when, 94? I've been waiting my entire life for the Bruins to win. They last won two months before I was born. May 1972.

Long suffering my tush! :D

Hey when I was a kid between Boston and Philly we didn't stand a chance! I even booed Turk Sanderson and he was in a Ranger uni!

I can't stand Derek Sanderson!!! Before they moved, I loved the Hartford Whalers. In Boston, we got their games on the old SportsChannel New England. But if they played Boston, the game would be blacked out on SCNE and you could only watch the game on NESN. Sanderson used to kill the Whalers. Called them and AHL team. Among other things.

But I've got to say, calling yourself a long suffering Rangers fan would be like me calling myself a long suffering Red Sox fan. I'll agree we both suffered for quite a while (50 plus years) but not relatively recently.

In the words of Ed McMann "You are correct SIR!"

Sabres have never won. in the 38 year history of the team, the closest we got was in the '99 finals - the infamous "No Goal". We should have won that one...

Never watch. Don't know who's who, what's what. But I do fill out the bracket (past 3 years now). My picks are based on the rankings listed on the sheet and then if I've heard of them before. If I haven't heard of either team, I pick which one I think I may have heard of or which one sound better. :D I took 1st in the office (non-monetary) pool last year.

Ranger fan here. I try and watch every single episode game and enjoy hearing TV play-by-play announcer Sam Rosen.

As for the tournament, it looks like it'll be another year without the Scarlet Knights being present.
