I'm 49 and I'm far from being on my last leg. I build my computers! I have an EET degree.

I'm the parent that knows more then the teenagers do about the computers in the house. I'm the one that my teenagers friends don't like to work on their computers because I can tell what they've been going and can bust them when the go places they shouldn't. 8-)

PS I really do still enjoy pong! :D

LOL, thanks for the additional perspective, Mindflipper.

Fact is, I'm only 46. But sometimes I get to feeling old when other "younger" people start talking about stuff I'm not up to speed on yet. Some of the newest crazes just don't interest me. I'm kind of like, "ho hum, been there, done that.." as far as getting excited about something new. It takes a lot to get me interested in something new because I'm just so doggone busy these days. That's the real issue. But I'll tell you what: it really cracks me up to see younger people treat me like I'm old when they're just plain ignorant. I like to mess with their minds when they do stuff like that.

Okay, enough of all this off-topic rambling! Who started it anyway? Was it you, Jacca?!

My mother doesn't have a Facebook (and she has her reasons, which is understandable) but since I have quite a number of family on mine, she hijacks my computer/profiles to send them random little messages here and there. On my birthday she hijacked it to talk to my aunt and it was pretty funny. She kept asking me if there were any replies back.

Well I've had Facebook since very early on (I mean very early. There were like 3,000 total members as it was only available to active students at MIT, Northeastern, Harvard, and maybe BC or BU). I'm kinda sad it's gotten so big and in some ways upset it's open to everyone now. Yes I was a Facebook snob, and wanted to be exclusive but I suppose it's easier to find people you want to find now (but that's also the problem now too  ). Oh well.

Hey Mr.Toad, so can we deduct that one of the 3 is your alma mater (since the other 2 were 'maybe's')?

I like facebook much better because I dont think its as creepy as Myspace has become.

Im usually on facebook at least 4 or 5 times a week... but I think subsonic has now beaten that. This is what I get for loving Disney! :mickey:

Don't have Facebook or MySpace anymore. Too many privacy issues. Don't want everything I write or do stored in a database somewhere for all eternity. Just saying.
