HAHA This was great to read after unwinding from my final. I even linked it to one of my best friends since she'd get a great kick out of this.

My question is, why are the seven swans a swimming the most expensive?

I don't know why seven swans a-laying are so expencive either?

Oh, well I can cross this off my list of things to have this year.

Do you think the cost of the swans includes the cost of building a lake maybe? That's the only thing I can come up with. Because you are delivering seven swimming swans, not seven swans that can swim. So I guess you are delivering a lake or pond or pool or something with it as well.

If the lake was included, it would be a lot more wouldn't it because of the space?

Sure a whole lake would be more, maybe it's just the cost of an above ground pool or a small pond.

The swans thing is weird. Though then again, where does one buy swans?

I also find it strange the cost of french hens seems to be on the decline. Best stock up this year.

You can get swan eggs and hatchlings on-line. I have a friend who has a farm.

They do this same "study" every year. The price always goes up and it always is for the same reasons. Inflation, tariffs, import duties, fuel costs, labor, etc. I try to ignore these anymore.

Shouldn't they actually wait until we get closer to the twelve days of Christmas? I mean a lot can happen between now and December 26.
