Post by Soarin08 » Dec Thu 11, 2008 3:17 pm

It snowed a good six inches here in Mississippi this morning... any other Subsonic Southerners get a lot of snow today?

We have some snow up in Big Bear and Mammoth but sadly, none in the SoCal area. I can just go to Universal Studios Hollywood and spend time in the Whoville area with their snow.

surprisingly, we haven't had much snow here in the Snow Capitol of the World (or at least NY). we have MAYBE 2 incheson the ground, if that. lately, it's been kinda rainy, which is making the snow melt when it hits the ground.

We had some snow here in Slidell, Louisiana. We are considered the Northshore since we are on the north shore of Lake Pontchatrain.

Just as long as it stays in LA and GA. We don't want no snow in FL.

Well if there was any snow last night, I missed it, but now since the cold front has gone through, it's freezing out. I can't wait until next week when I get to spend my days in sunny, 80-degree Florida weather!!

BLAH! We've had too much snow already here in IN. We're near Chicago so we get hit with lake effect and we're also in the "snow belt". WDW sounds really super good to me right now!!!! We're supposed to warm here tomorrow, in the 40's! WOO HOO, heat wave!

Haha! Today was in the 40s and I thought that I was going to freeze to death! Normally in Atlanta, we get a warm snap for the first week or two in December where it's usually in the high 60s-low70s every day, but that just hasn't happened yet this year...

It's going to be raining within the next few days if not by tonight so that means a TON of snow up in the mountains. Now I wish I could go skiing right now.
