i just got back from seeing Joe Satriani in concert with Mountain and it was the most amazing concert i ever went to! Joe Satriani is one of the best (perhaps the best) guitarist ever! Any Joe Satriani fans here?

Yes I'm a fan and my brother is a HUGE fan. We went to his concert in ABQ NM in 2006 and we got special backstage passes and got to meet him. The crowd chant is so fun!

omg the best show ive been to! I was so close that when he tossed a guitar pick i the crowd, i was lucky enough to grab it. i had to fight to keep it though lol!

captain cynical to the rescue ...For those of you that doesn't know, Coldplay ripped a song that Satriani wrote. The ripped song is Vida la Vida (this the name that Coldplay gave...)

yeah it was a birthday present for my father. He almost had a heart attack lol because he loves Leslie West from Mountain and wanted to see him in concert since he was about my age (20). We both also love Joe so it was night with my father i will never forget. On top of that, i saved my pay checks for months to get the best possible seats which was seventh row! But when the bands came out everyone ran up anyway so we fought our way up to the stage lol xD! Anyway, now i gotta get my mom something that big that she will love. hmmm this will be a hard one 0.0
