It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

Who here likes "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown"? I was just watching it and wanted to know what everyone's favorite part of the movie is?

I haven't seen that one in so long! I'm used to seeing the Charlie Brown Christmas one but I used to love watching the Great Pumpkin one as well.

It's so hard to decide on a favorite part! I love the whole concept of the Great Pumpkin flying through the air with his bag full of toys. Oh, and it always amuses me when Linus throws away an apple after one bite. Must have been a Red Delicious!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

I have the Great Pumpkin on a shirt! I love all the Peanuts shows but my favorite is the Easter one when Pep Patty is teaching Marci to make eggs for decorating.

We are also big fans of the Charlie Brown holiday cartoons, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. Our family has the DVDs and watch them each year.
I enjoy them all, but my favorite has to be Christmas. With all that is going on in the world it takes a group of cartoon children to remind us of what Christmas is really all about.

I have still yet to see it in its entirety. Every time it airs on ABC before Halloween I am always studying or doing school work. From what I have seen of the movie, my favorite part is the same as boilerbabe's.

I love the Great Pumpkin. My fav part is when Snoopy is dancing as Linus is playing the piano and it goes from sad music to happy music. Snoopy is hilarious in those scenes!

I love that movie!! I remember watching it as a kid when it was shown once a year on network TV (yeah, a while ago..I'm 46). Now, I watch it with my kids several times during the Halloween season, and I laugh just as hard as I did when I was a kid. My favorite part? Not sure...there are so many. Snoopy dancing to the piano music is a winning part, so is the part when all of the gang is trick o' treating and Lucy asks for extra candy for "my dumb brother who's out in the pumpkin patch". Oh..how about the time when Linus believes the Great Pumpkin is really rising from the patch (of course, it's Snoopy howling) and he faints? It's a classic.
