If I remember it's on, I'll try to watch whatever sport is on. I never pay attention to it but I do love the gymnastics. If it's the winter Olympics, I'll watch snowboarding or ice hockey.

Avid Olympic fan here. I watch as much as I can. I have two DVRs in my house and they have both been cleaned out to make space for the Olympics. I don't have any particular sport that I like to watch, but my roommate is Brazilian and loves volleyball.

I mainly stick to watching the winter olypmics myself. Did anyone see on the news today that the Olympics might get delayed due to the really high polution levels? All the biker's were wearing masks and such to protect themselves....

I like the Winter Olympics for the hockey competition (BIG hockey fan here). But, I like the Summer Games more for some of the events there. Gymnastics, swimming, beach volleyball, and track & field are my favs.

I love watching the Olympics especially the track and field events and the cycling. Can't wait to support the USA!

I personally don't like the olympics. However, I watch them since they are the only thing on.

Yes I watch the summer Olympics, not much of the winter Olympics. Can't wait to see Phelps and Dara Torres swim. Being an ex competitive swimmer (went to the jr. olympics WAY back in the day), watching the swimming is something I really look forward to. I also watch AVP on tv so I am looking forward to watching Misty & Kerri, hopefully they can win the gold again!!

We love the Summer Olympics and always love to watch the swimmers. My son swam growing up so I know the hard work it takes to get where they are. I'm rooting for Michael Phelps. We're so proud of him in Maryland!!!

Not a big Olympic fan. Especially since half of the air time NBC uses is filled with human interest stories about the athletes. I really don't care how some Roman Greco wrestler was inspired as a four year old to learn the sport after watching his two cats fight in the living room. If they just stuck to the events I would probably watch.

Yeah I agree, there are boring parts of the games, and the commercials are tiresome. But I can't get enough of the winter stuff cause I just dream I'm there in the snow.... man phoenix stinks :x

OMG, weren't the opening ceremonies amazing? One must admire the Chinese for being able to pull this off. At least socialism is good for something.

I didn't see much of it, but from the few parts I saw, it seemed to be very impressive. With all those fireworks I almost felt like I was in Disney. I just can't handle NBC's coverage. It is too commercialized and drawn out as kcarts said.

Not to mention Bob Costas is a pompous blowhard. I'd rather punch myself below the belt repeatedly than listen to him.

I agree, NBCs coverage of the opening ceremonies is terrible. I mean who thinks to interrupt the parade of nations (or the artistic portion) with commercials. It is really in bas taste. Unfortunately, we don't have a choice in the US; NBC owns the exclusive rights.
