Long Vacations or Minnies?

We definitely prefer mini vacations over long ones. Every couple of years we'll do a long trip (this year it's to Anaheim in July for All-Star Game festivities), but typically 3-4 day weekends are best. It's so hard to come back after a long trip (short ones are bad enough) but it's also a case of being able to get the time off to go. It's easier for us to take a mini trip rather than a long one.
