Wow!! Do you realize that's not fiction. It's about Eisner taking over Disney!!!elizabethswann wrote:I have no idea if anyone has attempted to read these but I enjoyed The Kingdom Keepers. They're a Disney publication with two books in it so far and I thought they were interesting. Yes, they're pretty much kid books but I gave it a try after hearing about them on another Disney site.

Hmmm...I think I know what I am getting on my weekly trip to the bookstore. I haven't wandered through the children's/young adult section since I read the His Dark Materials trilogy a couple years ago.elizabethswann wrote:I have no idea if anyone has attempted to read these but I enjoyed The Kingdom Keepers. I want to read those. I'm reading this book online, but I'd love to find a copy of Cory Doctorow's "Down and Out in the Magic KIngdom." Reading it on my computer gets tiresome....elizabethswann wrote:I have no idea if anyone has attempted to read these but I enjoyed The Kingdom Keepers. I haven't read the book, but I saw the movie and it is amazing. I am so glad Kate Winslet won the Oscar for her role; she did a great job.elizabethswann wrote:I just finished The Reader by Bernhard Schlink and while I saw the movie prior to reading the novel, I ended up loving both. I let my best friend borrow the book since we saw the movie together. Both are amazing even if the topic and setting of the book may be upsetting for quite a few.

I'm so glad she won it too. She did such a phenomenal job in it and she got what she had longed for for years.agingerbugg wrote:I haven't read the book, but I saw the movie and it is amazing. I've read the Hobbit many, many times. It's one of those books you come back too. The first time I read it, it took me 3 years. I was almost 10 at the time, I did plug away and finaly get through it.DAR wrote:I always seem to come back to it but The Hobbit is always a favorite.

I don't know about anyone else, but I just finished ready the Twilight Saga and I loved it. It was really good, I even saw the movie Twilight & can't wait for the next movie New Moon to come out. Has anyone else had an opportunity to read the books, and if so, what did you think?

Finished a book called iwoz a few weeks ago. It is the first part of the story of Steve Wozniak's life, from childhood to founding apple computers to leaving the company. it is a great read, and it is nice to read about the good half of the apple empire. It is a semi-autobiography and tells you about some of his pranks and about how they wrote the software for their first computer in their hotel room the night before they were supposed to show it off.
Now I am on to The Odessa File, I always loved the movie and I wanted to read the book.
