How do you record the music for this website?

Post by DIAC1987 » Jun Mon 30, 2008 11:32 pm

All the music that we have received over the years at Subsonic Radio, how are they recorded?

I want to contribute to the website by recording some of the music of the parks, but couldn't figure out where to begin.

Any pointers?

Some people take minidisks or other portable recording devices and just hang around recording tracks. You may hear some people talking about induction recordings. Some areas in the parks are covered by induction loops that feed the audio and PA systems to people with hearing aids through an induction loop. An induction recording is when you tap into this using a receiving device and record it. Another method doesn't involve recording at all but surfing the internet for tracks that have either come from CDs or master/source copies which cast members and other people have posted.

I hope this helps and good luck with you recording.
