I love this Show I have loved all of the versions of Star Trek though the Origanal wasn't that interesting to me and the newest one is one of the best. it's nice to see that they could go before Kerk and still keep all information true to the original.

Ouch. Now that's a real kick in the teeth to Trek fans. I don't care much, not having followed it at all regularly since the last couple of seasons of DS9, but still...ouch. Not a huge surprise though, considering what I've heard of Enterprise.

never been much of a Star Trek fan. I think the sotry started to grow old after the original series. Even then, I didn't really like the show.
I've always been more of a Star Wars fan. The props and things in the movies look almost believeable, like they come from our world. Star Trek didn't have any of that. It's almost TOO out there, IMHO...
Although, I did kind of enjoy when we watched Star Trek 4: The Journey Home movie when we watched it in middle school. It was one of those "last-day-of-school-before-break" days and they didn't want to teach us stuff before we're out for 2 weeks. So, they showed us movies all day. One of the finest days of school I've ever had.

Star Trek: Enterprise Cancelled!
After four seasons, Star Trek: Enterprise has reached the end of its mission ...
PRESS RELEASE
UPN and Paramount Network Television have jointly announced that this will be the final season of Star Trek: Enterprise on UPN. [Production will continue until the end of this season, which will finish shooting in March.] The series finale will air on Friday, May 13, 2005.
"Star Trek has been an important part of UPN's history, and Enterprise has carried on the tradition of its predecessors with great distinction," said Dawn Ostroff, President, Entertainment, UPN. "We'd like to thank Rick Berman, Brannon Braga and an incredibly talented cast for creating an engaging, new dimension to the Star Trek universe on UPN, and we look forward to working with them, and our partners at Paramount Network Television, on a send-off that salutes its contributions to The Network and satisfies its loyal viewers."
David Stapf, President of Paramount Network Television, said, "The creators, stars and crew of Star Trek: Enterprise ambitiously and proudly upheld the fine traditions of the Star Trek franchise. We are grateful for their contributions to the legacy of Trek and commend them on completing nearly 100 exciting, dramatic and visually stunning episodes. All of us at Paramount warmly bid goodbye to Enterprise, and we all look forward to a new chapter of this enduring franchise in the future."
A prequel to the original "Star Trek" series, STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE premiered on UPN on Sept. 26, 2001, and aired for its first three seasons on Wednesdays (8:00-9:00PM, ET/PT). On Oct. 8, 2004, STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE moved into its current time on Fridays (8:00-9:00PM, ET/PT). Through its four-year run, STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE produced a total of 98 episodes and earned four Emmy Awards.

I was never much of a Star Trek fan either, but I did watch a little of the original series with my brother and some of DS9 and TNG. Tried watching Voyager (that's the one with the woman captain who has her hair in a old school teacher style, isn't it?) from the beginning so that I'd know what was going on, but only kept it up for a few episodes before losing interest.
I thought TNG was the most watchable of them all, though DS9 was pretty good too.

While I like almost every Star Trek show and movie (along with all the Star Wars movies) to date, I thought Enterprise was horribly written. They only really had to do a couple of things, 1-set up the Klingon conflict, 2-begin setting up for the Romulan conflict, 3-show how the federation began, and 4-show the progression of the main technologies. I know that they did all of that, but they added a lot of stuff that most fans simple don't care for, like the Xindi thing. I still can't believe they spent a WHOLE season covering that, a three parter I can see, but not an entire season. The whole suliban (I think I spelled that right) thing just kind of disappeared. Since it isn't really mentioned in any of the other shows, I don't think it was that important. I think the creators did a lot of things wrong, but I hope that doesn't discourage people from watching the other Star Trek shows. Voyager and The Next Generation will always be number 1 and 2 to me followed very closely by Deep Space Nine.

Wow thanks for that post and it was your first welcome to the forums. Your right the zindi Conflict was a waste of time. I did like when the brought Dr. Sunglee (I think the spelling is close) and showed him back in the days when he thought of DATA. Now that was a great episode. Weth TNG almost every week was something else, But on Enterprise it was a season to one thing and like you said I believe that may have been the downfall to the show. I know I personally missed the first part of season 1 and all of season 3 so i missed most of the boring stuff.
PS> Maybe if they could end the show with showinf how the borg' were created that would be Cool.

its sad this show kicks butt I wonder if Spike TV will carry it in reruns? I'll miss the show Would love to see something take its place. The differant reality was cool why couldn't they think of it sooner.

I think there is only 2 weeks left than it over

I never could get into Enterprise, and I liken it to the whole Disney thing with building lots of parks (creating several spinoffs) and not focusing as much quality on the existing ones.

Next Generation for me, I really like the plot of each episode. Even though I am not a big fan of Star Trek, but Next Generation is really good. Like the only one I watch. Voyager is also fun to watch, but mainly Next Generations.
