Holy smokes it's rained nonstop here going on three days - I'm talking pouring down rain with very little breaks in the precipitation. The left side of my front yard has a stream running down it and my backyard is almost fully immersed under water!

I was just going to say, "Are you near the Atlantic?" but then I saw your location as Virginia. Yeah, you guys are getting pounded down there!

We're only supposed to have storms here, overnight, and then maybe again on Friday. No offense but you can keep those.

Drip drip drop
Little April Shower...

Haha.

My parents are in VA right now.... wonder how much they got. Hope the rain stops for you! I'm lucky enough to live in northern MI where we've actually had a few days of nice spring weather. Of course, it will probably snow next week!!

Steve, please don't complain about the rain. We here in GA need it bad!!! What I wouldn't give for a long day of steady rain. We have a well, and last summer it was down to 10', and considering it was around 40' well several years ago, it has dropped considerably. So, although I am sorry, it does tend to make you feel dreary. I hope you have a sunny day in the next few days.

Rain, rain go away, Steve wants to play!

I am in Central Virginia and the steady rain had been great. They are still whining about a 9" defecit on the news though. It's cyclic... in a few years we will be using row boats to get to work...

I've been in the Albany, NY area for the past week or so, and it hasn't rained once in that time. We were supposed to get some this past Sunday, but nothing happened. and it's supposed to be warm and sunny here for at least the next week.

Wow, it's amazing how the weather is so different only a few hours away. The past few weeks here in southern New England have been beautiful sunny spring days. Not too hot, not to cool with one or two little white fluffy clouds. I hope there's not too much serious flooding (or in Georgia's case, lack of).

I second the sentiment that the flooding not be too serious except for Georgia but I agree with Cheshire Cat that being from New England, it's kinda nice not to have rain ourselves or snow!

We needed the rain and I'm glad for it - but too much in too short of time makes for a lot of problems. Still dreary this morning with rain but the sun is supposed to make an appearance soon.

Feel free to send some of that rain down here to North Carolina. We are still in "extreme drought" status in our area.
