Gang, we're off to my youngest son's championship league football game! They're 8-0, undefeated, and playing the only other undefeated team in their league at 3 pm EST. It's going to be a tough game, but fun and hopefully these guys can pull out their 9th win to be league champions!

(Sidenote and a futher proud dad brag - my oldest son, who plays JV football for his high school, is on a team that is 8-1 with one more game to play next Thursday night. They should be guaranteed a playoff berth for division champions, but it's a tight race in our school district.)

good luck, i hope you guys won!!! When I was 22 I volunteered and caoched a local 6-8yr old roller hockey team. We went 14-1 and won the championship. It's a great feeling.

The guys fought tough, but ultimately lost the championship with an 0-12 score. Alas, an overall 8-1 record for the season is a brilliant thing and the team party is today which should be a ton of fun for the guys.

Sorry they lost. 8-1 is nothing to hold your head down over! They did a great job!!

They had their team party last night - you'd never known they were defeated. Trophy presentations, catered BBQ, a huge cake and a father/son pickup football game where the kids win sure make a difference!
