Did you or your community do anything to memorialize the anniversary of 9/11 yesterday?

There was a candle light vigil at a memorial site. It was very sad! It's hard to believe that was 6 years ago. I think everyone remembers what they were doing that day when it happened.

There was a ceremony at the courthouse.

Our city has a loop (no, not like the one in Space Mountain) that actually goes in a complete circle around/through the city. At a large park, right off the loop, they placed one flag for each person who lost their life that day. Well, now that I think about it, there may not be over 3,000 flags there. I've never counted. BUT, there are a lot!

Anyway, if you like the American flag, it really is very pretty.

They have done it for the last 5 years.

I went to a freedom concert at six flags in New Jersey. It was to support the families of troops who have died and to remember what happened on 9/11. I don't know who Mongomery Gentry is, but they did play an awesome show. It was so cool to be with so many patriotic people.
