Now I know It has been out for a while but since Halo 3 is comming in Sept. I decided I wanted one. If you have Live here is my Gamertag. eagle4life08 (my eagle4life69 was taken by me when I had it on the 1st Xbox. Called Xbox and they told me there is no way in hell that I can get it. Pretty sad since I own Eagle4life69.com ) ;(

Anyone else going to pick up NCAA Football 08? It came out today, and I'm about to go out and get it. It's about the only thing that can hold me over another month and a half until college football starts. :)

Oh yeah, I can't wait for Halo 3. I'll just stick with Bomberman Live and Forza for now.

I just sent my 360 back for reapairs yesterday. I had the famous problem with the 3 blinking red lights. Does anybody know about how long it takes for Microsoft to send the system back to me. Also, do they send the same system or do they send a different one.

They're probably going to send you a new one, but with your same hard drive. FYI, they've developed a new heat-sink unit (which has caused a majority of the problems), and extended all warranties, so hopefully this won't be as big a problem.

I've been seriously thinking about getting a 360, and my wife has even given the green light. I think this topic just pushed me over the edge... hopefully I'll be responding soon with my gamertag!

We bought a couple of 360s just after we had gotten a Wii. We already had an Xbox, so we were waiting until some different games came out for the 360. I thought I would be obsessed with the Wii, but the 360 is awesome. I never turn on the Wii (maybe if they'd get some decent games for it).

Two Worlds, Blue Dragon, and Mass Effect are the games I am looking forward to this year. The Force Unleashed next year is what I really want.

Thank you for the info. BTW, get the 360 before your wife changes her mind. This is the time to get a 360. Halo 3 is right around the corner.

Does anybody know why the release date for Grand Theft Auto was pushed back?

I think it was just unanticipated production time. There's no way they would purposely push it out of holiday release timing if they could avoid it.

I hope the Elite doesnt have the same problems. I have had mine for about a month and a half. So far so good, have used it for several hours playing games in my hot apartment. I only have 73 gigs left of space though. I tend to download a lot of game demos.
