Ok, all of this Wii stuff has made me decide we need a PS3 thread. I actually have one of those

No good games for it yet, still playing PS2 games - but that will hopefully change as new releases start coming out in July - October of this year. Anxiously awaiting Hot Shots Golf, Big Little Planet, Grand Theft Auto 4, I'm forgetting a few...

Thus far I've only played Call of Duty 3 (not a fan) and NHL 2k7 for PS3, NHL 2k7 just seemed like a bad port of the PS2 version and while Call of Duty 3 looked great, I'm not a huge first person shooter person and couldn't get into it.

I liked Call of Duty 2 better than 3. I only have the ps2 right now, but hopefully will be getting a ps3 sometime in the nearish future (within the next year or so)

You're not missing anything yet. Nothing worth playing under the 3 label just yet. Oblivion maybe, but otherwise nothing good comes out until year 2 or 3.

I have Oblivion for Xbox 360, and it's awesome.

I use my PS3 tons more then my Wii. I have Motorstorm, which is amazing, and will only get better with the patch release sometime in the next few weeks, Resistance, NBA 2k7, and Tiger Woods 2007. Motorstorm and 2k7 had been getting most of my time, until i got involved with the Beta Testing community at SCEA, now i'm spending most of my time doing that.

I can't wait for numerous games to hit. Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Killzone PS3, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Little Big Planet, Warhawk, Assassin's Creed, Army of Two, Haze, MGS 4, and others. I think the next 12-14 months are going to be huge for Sony.
