^^ I feel you on the consoles. I've been having fun with my Xbox and PS2.

Yes, consoles are good, but generally games on teh computers are my preference (although my computer isn't really up to many of the new ones any more).

It's just bloody typical, isn't it. I sign up for World of Warcraft, then two days later my internet connection starts disconnecting itself every 15 minutes due to some as yet unknown fault at the telephone exchange. Since Friday lunchtime I've not had a stable enough connection to play

This is also why I'm not currently active in the chat. I will be again as soon as the connection is fixed.

In response to this you should be able to get on the US servers. I have a friend that gets on the FR servers all the time because he is French. It should work in reverse......you would think.

This is funny, I work at Upper Deck, and we make the TCG based off the MMO. If you enjoy the MMO, it's my totally unbiased opinion

that you check out the TCG, as it's very true to the online game, plus you can unlock unique items for the online game found only in the TCG:

I can see the file where it defines where it gets the realm list from (the EU server address), however the EU servers is where my account is, not the US servers (I can't log into the US WoW site), so unless I buy a US account, I won't be able to *use* the US servers.

Heh. I never really got into trading card games to be honest. Not my kind of thing. I prefer playing the actual game

I am a WoW player and always have subsonic on while I play...LOL!!!! WoW is my second MMO game, followed by City of Heroes. I love the game and find it almost addicting....

my wife and i used to play wow pretty heavily. got bored with it, too much money, not enough time spent playing it, recently cancelled our accounts. she had a 70 frost mage, i had a 50 undead afflic specced lock.

God, I wish I could get my wife to play more video games (she only plays the Wii on occasion). I'd love to get her to play WoW. I'd probably still be playing then.

My husband and I have two Xbox 360s so that we can play together. Hopefully we'll get a non-Phantasy Star MMO to play soon.

I'm sorry, don't mean to rub it in. I just feel as though I have to properly represent the women (all 5 of us) who like to play video games.

I'm not a PC gamer. So, I've never even attempted WoW. But, another reason I avoid it is that I'm afraid we'd get so addicted that we'd never leave the house again. And now, we're going to have a baby this summer, so I probably have "responsible" things to do.

Yeah, so we started playing WoW in February. I now have a level 80 Destro Lock and 7 others over level 60. We used refer-a-friend, and it was awesome.

The game is the most addicting thing I have ever discovered, and my worst fears of it have been realized. It's just so much fun.
