How many of you guys visit Medieval Times when you visit a Disney park? And when you go, do you request a certain Knight? Whats your favorite part about it?
I personally have only been once when I was like 7 years old. And I thought the coolest part about the whole thing was that I get to eat with my fingers! We had the green knight so when I go again this summer hopefully I can stay true to my colors. lol!

Here's what I say... it is definitely cool and it is one of those attractions of California that you must go see at least once. Requesting a certain knight I don't think is necessary cause the cool thing about the arena is that it's got a great view all the way around. * My fav colors are blue and green though so eh...* Anywho... my favorite part is that it's real weapons, it's real people, and when you step into that arena you don't feel like your in the year your in anymore... you feel like a knight back in well... Medieval Times The eating with your fingers thing is also a plus lol hope when you go enjoy it... oh anybody ever seen the Pirates show... it's very similar to Midieval times but with Pirates... I wanted to know if anybody else saw it cause I saw it with my gf and I thought it wasn't as good as the Medieval Times show... opinions opinions please!

I've only done it once, and it was a long time ago. Yeah, the whole atmosphere is interesting and eating with your hands is fun. My knight won and I thought it was the coolest thing. I even got my flag signed....

Anyways, I think it's worth the trip if you go every once in a while, and with people who like that kind of...entertainment.

I've never seen the Pirates show, and for some reason I'm not at all interested in it.

I Love Medieval Times and I have not see the Pirates Dinner and Theater. The Pirate show is where Wild Bills used to be right off the 91 fwy and Beach. Same side of the street as Medieval and within walking distance.

No Way! I've never heard of that! I'll have to look into it being a huge Pirates fan myself. I wonder how they set it up? Do they do pirates in different colors? And battling for the fair hand of a lady? Or are they battleing for treasures beyond their wildest dreams? I just wanna know how the story goes.

Seeing as I never get to the Disney Water Parks, or D Quest when I am in WDW, Medieval Times is low on my list of todos!

They have a Medieval Times here in NJ. Wifey took me there one year for my birthday. I have to say its pretty cool. Anytime you get to eat like a savage and watch jousting, its a good day!

I went to the onein Orlando, and I thought it was cool. They joust, and the knights sometimes throw flowers to the girls! WOOHOO


Anyway, it's fun to call the waitstaff "WENCH"

I didn't understand the poll untill I read the post. The one in Orlando is juast a few minutes down 192 next to Walmart (Wally World). It is worth the trip!!

In regards to the Pirates dinner show I will say this... when I went I had a front row seat but it was in a bad place soo... make a note to get there early so that you can get a good seat in your color. Cause it's like first come first serve type of seating if I recall. I enjoyed the show. The idea is essentially the same. The only difference is that instead of a arena like in Medieval Times... it's on a boat. It's a really cool set. The story is actually a pretty cool set up... The crew's divided up into colors and then you know the typical fight for the maiden type stuff... along with drinking pillaging and plundering I'm sure any pirate fan would enjoy

Oh I will! That sounds slike loads of fun!

I have been twice and have to say I think it's worth it. Besides being a pretty neat setting and show, it's nice to experience something differnt outside of the wonderful world of Disney. It is definitly a must see while in Orlando, if you have the time.

Another good show since you guys are mentioning others, is Capone's. The waiters are all part of the act and are a riot. The show, about a kooky FBI agent going after a girl that is close to Al Capone.

Not interested at all personally. We have friends that love it, just not what I'm interested in. Pretty much when we're at Disney we're Disney snobs, although we've been known to sneak a day over at Sea World or Universal. 8) Not much else matters in Orlando to us!

Orlando. I think it is right on I192 as well as many other shows.

We'd never gone to Medieval Times; in my childhood, our trips were either to King Henry's Feast in Orlando, or to the Wild Bill one (is that still around?). My memories of both are a little hazy because I was all of 9 yrs old when we'd gone to King Henry's anyway.

Personally, I'd rather just go to Hoop-dee-doo or try the Polynesian Luau (are those still there?) than leave property.
