My wife and I are Virginia Tech University alumni and live three hours from Blacksburg. Quite a few kids from our area were shot, one who graduated from my son's high school. Thank God she's expected to survive. It's been a horrible day in Virginia, but this is a National tragedy.

Please keep everyone in thought and prayer.

What the heck is going on with our country? I don't hear about this stuff in Canada!
I'm so sorry for those people.

Wow That is pretty tragic moment in American History. I was actually born in Virginia. But Then I moved to Canada. Nothing happened in Winnipeg at my college. My prayers go out to all the Virginia Tech Students.

My brother was going to attend Virginia Tech but instead came down to Fl to go to USF instead. He knows quite a few people who went there though. I pray for those who have lost their lives, and those who have to live with losing friends and family.

I recently learned that a relative of mine lost two childhood friends in that incident. It certainly changes things when something like that hits close to home.
