My wife and I are not allowed to get each other presents this year, a rule she made up, so no i'm not using this as an excuse to not get her anything. She says we spent too much over the last two months (New TV, laptop, PS3 and Wii, plus getting holiday presents for everyone). We're going out to dinner on Thursday since we can't go out tonight. I'm still in austin working, and won't be getting home to houston, untill tomorrow night. So all I'm getting her is a card and flowers. More then anything she could give me, I'm just looking forward to getting back home and seeing her again, it's only wednesday, but been a very long week already.

We got each other cards and will be cooking at home. We'll have a nice dinner and watch a chick flick. We don't want to deal with long waits and crowded restaurants. Nor do we like the fact that this day was made by card stores to rake in money.

Big bouquet of flowers sent to her work... expecting a call some time today all surprised and whatnot. Dropped the ball on going to dinner... we've both been completely stressed out at work, and we really won't feel like cooking. There is a chinese place we like down the street, maybe we'll just get delivery...

Well, Happy Birthday. I know my friend has a birthday in exactly 2 weeks from today. I don't have a s/o myself to take out to dinner or anything, but I like Valentines day for the 2 week reminder...

Thats what she meant by "MY TINKERBELL ROSES CAME!!!!" in the chat. I thought she was saying that her, as tinkerbell, got her roses from you.

ha ha

I get it now. Those were a great idea rich.

My wife LOVES Peter Pan. I thought that would make a great Valentine's day gift. So I pre-order it from The Disney Store a month ago. I didn't relize that it wasn't going to be in stores till March 6. So I found a frame, and framed one of the lithographs. My wife had told me not to buy anything for her on Valentine's day, since we are going to be spending ALOT of money at Walt Disney World. (Feb 17th thru Feb 24th) I didn't give it to her, just kissed her good morning and told her happy Valentines's day. On my way to the car, I set the picture and a small heart shaped box of "Kisses" (and a box of "Kisses" for my daughter) on their seats in the car they use, and went to work. Within the hour I get a call from a "happy" crying wife. I think she realy likes it.

Made the wife breakfast, took her, my daughter, and (gulp!)... mother-in-law to a less popular southern california theme park featuring aquatic animals. Had a great time. Wish we'd went to DL though... m-i-law is afraid of the big crowds at DL, so she wont go... the Devil, that woman!

That's hilarious. My mother-in-law-to-be is a sweet woman who thankfully likes Disneyland... but still, she can be a total handful sometimes. I love my fiancée, but her mother's going to be interesting from here 'til eternity...
