The 80s and 90s mesh for me, so in no particular order...
The Jetsons
DuckTales
TailSpin
The Flintstones
Eureka's Castle
Darkwing Duck
Gummi Bears
Rainbow Brite
The Smurfs
Heathcliff
Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Alvin & the Chipmunks
Muppet Babies
Ghostbusters
Captain Planet
But I really liked game shows much more... The Price is Right (plinko!!), Scrabble, Classic Concentration, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune (remember the daytime version with the different host?), etc. I also liked to watch a lot of old sitcoms: Happy Days, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, The Munsters, Laverne & Shirley, Green Acres, Petticoat Junction, The Addams Family, etc.

There were so many I use to watch. Didn't love them all mind you but would sit and rot in front of the tv watching any of them.
My favorites in no order are:
Heathcliff
MuppetBabies (hilarious and you could relate about using your imagination with out leaving the room. And the great music...When is this coming to DVD?)
Gummi Bears
TMNT
He-Man ( I think I owned every single figure, playset, and vehicle)
The Real Ghostbusters
I'm sure there are more that I can't think of right now. Ah... to go back...

In no order
DuckTails
Darkwing Duck
Rescue Rangers
Thundercats
Voltron
G1 Transformers
(If we include the 90's) Beast Wars
Garfield
He-Man
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
GI Joe
One of my buddies and I were talking about cartoons in the 80s versus now. I just don't think you could do something like GI Joe now. I thought it was great and i think it does help instill a bit of national pride, but if you think about it, there was so much stereotyping on it. It would be sued left and right if it came out these days.

Please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle until the ride comes to a full and complete stop. Thank you, and enjoy the rest of your day here at Walt Disney World.

No it's still all a blur. Or as one of my sisters tells me,"Oh I forget you don't remember the 70's". It was a much different time, it good some things change. I was in College then.SWHorn wrote:It was close enough. I mean, were the 70s and 1981 really all that different?
