Some 70s cartoons were great too

Post by luarth » Mar Sun 01, 2009 11:42 am

One of my favorite things to do was to wake up early in the morning and watch Johnny Quest. I know it is not exactly an 80's cartoon, but I really liked it, much better than the new version. I also really liked Woody Woodpecker, Pink Panther, and G-Force. Casper the Friendly Ghost and Richie Rich were also favorites. Superfriends and the League of Justice were great too. I guess I qualify for a cartoon junkie.

I really wish I could get Boomerang network from Mediacom. I've asked so many times, they know me by name

Oh, I LOVE Boomerang! I used to watch The Banana Splits on there among other classic shows.

I'm a 70's generation cartoon watcher. I grew up with the Flinstones, Scooby Doo, The Jetsons, Looney Toons. I do remember watching the Smurfs though! One of my favorites Sat am shows was Land of the Lost. I see they are making a remake movie too! My favorite shows that were not cartoons were the Brady Bunch, Alice and One Day at a Time.

Garfield and Friends and Tiny Toons were great. I loved Orson the pig with the big imagination and Sheldon the chicken.

Fraggle Rock was not a cartoon. It's a live action show with puppets.
