I've never looked for a universal theme park site quite like this one. I've only been to the park a few times and I don't remember it being very musical. I believe one of the reasons that this site works as well as it does it because the music of the parks isn't just there playing in the background, it's a part of the park experience. Just hearing the music can bring back memories from being there and experiencing that feeling all over again.

Very true, although Universal's Island of Adventure does have some memorable tunes.
Nothing like Disney but I would like to get ahold of some of them.
Where does the creator of this site get his music from?

Well, I know he's always getting contributions from different people here on the boards. There's a lot of tracks that are personal recordings from different people here on Subsonic. I think some of them are extracted from video, Some from different CDs, and I'm sure lots of searching online using IRC and things like that. I'm sure when some of the Mods and Adms see this they'll be able to clarify further.

we get donations of tracks from various sources. jrcohen is right. we get tracks from cds, dvds, live recordings, various albums that have been available over the years, as well as the internet. many people use the irc channels to get stuff, I like to use just general p2p programs. I've found alot of stuff there.

as far as finding the universal sites, try searching on sites like yahoo or google. also try looking up universal channels in irc.

Disney can fill all your Universal cravings and then some. You know know once you listen to this site you are hooked. Fair warning.
I do stuff sometimes.
