Now this will be very interesting. I wanted to see the kind of taste in music the listeners have when their not on Subsonic. Music usually describes the soul and emotions and characteristics of the person. Since all of us listen to Subsonic we know one side of your personality. We know you like to close your eyes while listening to Subsonic, relax and "Just Believe" your there.

But.... what about in the car, the iPod, at home, while your sleeping or where ever?

My favorite is Classic Rock!!!!!

Bands like: AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Joureny, Tom Petty, Nirvana, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Ted Nugent, Steve Miller, and Jimmi Hendrix!!!

How about you?

Wow....... it's so hard to decide on a favorite. My tastes vary so much. I love the 80's Pop (Duran Duran, Wham) as well as the Hair Bands (Motley Crue, Guns n Roses) Easy listening ( Sting, Peter Gabriel, Norah Jones) Opera (Vivaldi.. Bocelli) Classical, new age, Broadway, etc. I suppose I love every thing BUT rap and Country (but even a few of each of those are good too) I suppose it depends on my mood.

I like a wide range of genres... mostly:

90s alternative/rock... Foo Fighters, Third Eye Blind, Gin Blossoms, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, etc

Indie rock/pop... Mates of State, The Dismemberment Plan, Modest Mouse, Neutral Milk Hotel, Guided by Voices, etc

Country/alt-country... Toby Kieth, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Trace Adkins, Kenny Rogers, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr., Old 97's, Whiskeytown, Son Volt, Wilco

Bluegrass... Hot Buttered Rum, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, anything like what you've heard on the "O, Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack. I loves me some banjo

Hip-Hop/Rap/etc... Anything MF Doom/King Geedorah/Viktor Vaughn-related, DJ Danger Mouse (incl. Gnarls Barkley), Jurassic 5, anything Del tha Funkee Homosapien-related, 80s/90s-era "gangsta" and popular rap like Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, NWA, Public Enemy, Warren G, Ice Cube, etc...

Modern/current popular music... stuff like Fall Out Boy, The Killers, Panic! At The Disco, and more mellow stuff like James Blunt, Jack Johnson, etc

Folk and related stuff... Iron & Wine, Sufjan Stevens, Sun Kil Moon, etc.

Classic/Southern rock... Foghat, Skynyrd, Doobie Brothers, Zep, Boston, etc.

80s New Wave/popular rock... Huey Lewis, Mister Mister, The Human League, INXS, Duran Duran, etc...

That should about cover it...

I'm kinda like knedeau on this one. I like a bit of a mix. I love rock music (classic - aerosmith, ac/dc, hendrix, etc; heavy - Metallica, system of a down, etc). I also like alot of the 80s stuff, and some others (easy listening, new wave). I'm not a fan of musicals, or rap/country. I like a few rap songs, but mostly they are remixes of rock/classical/pop songs... I love remixes in almost any genre...

though, if I had to pick 1, I'd say rock music...

Good question...

I'm a big movie soundtrack guy. I am a big fan of John Williams, James Horner, Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, etc.

Other than that, I also like alternative music, 80s music, and classical, but my favorite band is Nine Inch Nails. How's that for an extreme from SubsonicRadio?

You name it I listen to it. Country is my favorite. Then I would have to say 80's music. I like Oldies (50's and 60's) thanks to my parents. I listen to Jazz and Classical on occasion and even listen to Latin Pop music.

I like a mix of things as well. Child of the 80s here. I love soundtracks! Movie, musical, anime, and videogame soundtracks! I also enjoy alternative, modern rock, surf, j-rock/pop, Christian pop. Also anything Cirque du Soleil and Yuki Kajiura. I think my favorite band right now is The Used. Not so much a fan of rap/hip-hop though.

I like almost every kind of music. With the exception, I can't stand rap/hip hop! I like listening to soundtracks, classic/oldies rock, country, Christian rock, some of todays top 40's. I can tolerate classical sometimes, not opera though, never could get into that. I have to be in the right mood for blues and jazz. My cd collection is very much eclectic, I have Nick Lachey, Toby Keith, CCR, Josh Crobin, Bread, Jim Croche, Mercy Me, just to name a few  see what I mean :mickey:

I'll listen to almost everything.

Rock from 60's on up. Love classic rock ' Skynnard, Zepplin, Claptan, Bad Co. ext...
80's were great. Heuy Lewis, Tom Petty, Bon Jovi kicks, Journey RULES!!!!!
There's some good country, I won't dog it.
And I will agree most rap is horrible, but there is some good rap. DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince rocked. You can't beat Girls aint nothing but trouble! And there was some good stuff put out in the early to mid 90's by Death Row records. 2pac actually had a few very meaningful songs, if you listen to the lyrics.

I draw the line at Techno / Dance crap.

Country is really the one genre that it actually hurts me to listen to. I used to DJ parties/weddings in the '80's and '90's and when America slid into the "Country Phase" in the early '90's I almost hung up my headphones. Then I realized most of the country music requested was accompanied by an enthusiastic pool of people willing to dance to it. After that I was boot-scootin' all the way to the bank.
