Gosh darn it. It's not like listening to music distracts the worker. Usually it keeps people more focused. Sorry to hear that. Are you able to listen from home?

Yes I am listening at home and in fact I pump the music into my stereo surround sound and make the kids listen to it.

well they have finally done it. I am unable to listen to Subsonic radio from work. They are refusing me to proxy out. (or at least proxy out to get the radio.) I need some programers help. I am able to listen to XMRadio online from work. Does anyone know how they have there settings set-up? I have a feeling it is a port problem but I can't figure it out. I would love to have someone help me on creating a relay that doesn't get blocked by my works proxy.

P.S. I still get updated messages and have incorperated my familys photo website to run the subsonic radio on my main page.

Eagle, that's a real bummer. I'm sure internet radio doesn't intrude on people's work. It's only going to make people upset and not want to work.

I would have no idea how to get Subsonic Radio on XM radio. If anybody knows the way, please let me know :)

Eagle... XM uses a standard web port - port 80. Sub is using ports in the 8000 range. If sub can change the port setting to 80 then you should be back up an running. If not find away to hack into your proxy, and allow your ip full access

Not to back your admins, but I ban all streaming music thru our firewall too, except me of course :). Its good to be the king!
Streaming eats up alot of bandwidth.

Just think 10 users at 128k is one T1. :o

Port 80 is the default Apache Port. I can't switch a stream to 80
