The fireworks are at the county football stadium this year. The parking is going to be a nightmare

so I don't know if we'll be going. Once you see Disney fireworks, it's hard not to compare other displays. (Our town fireworks are sad in comparison.)

On the back of my eyelids

. I haven't been to a 4th celebration in a long time. It has always been too hot or raining. So I guess that I just got used to it. maybe if I hangout with friends I'll go, if they drag me there.

Either on a big screen TV at a friend's party, or we'll head down to Central Park in San Ramon, where they do the best fireworks in the East Bay.

I'll be watching Red, White and Boom too. I'm lucky enough to get to watch from an air conditioned office overlooking the river. Don't want to fight with over 1/2 million people down on the hot streets and parks. Thats too much madness. We'll just hang out and party till the traffic dies down.

Actually...... Tonight (The 2nd) we're going over to a friend's house to light off the ones we bought. (we bought a BIG bunch of them) And on the 4th, HUbby and I ride our bikes to the historic Stadium they shoot them off in, and watch the City ones. The Bicycles TOTALLY beat trying to find parking and sitting in traffic once the show is over. And we get exercise too! Woohoo!

If you get the chance next year check out Grove City's. They were amazing last night. I couldn't believe how good they were.

We're lucky enough to live on a golf course that hosts the local July 4th fireworks, so we snuck onto the 18th tee with our chairs (and friends), and watched them going off practically above our heads! We avoided the crowds up by the clubhouse, AND we walked home!

My wife and I stayed at this old 30 room hotel at the pier for three days and watched the fireworks there. They shot them right over the water. It was nice, they had a lot of things going on thorugh out the day. Plus on the second night we found out from some people the hotel was suppose to be haunted. Unfortunitly we didn't see or hear anything... but maybe that is a good thing.
