I'm going to be taking the kids to the Presidio tomorrow for pictures on the beach with the Golden Gate Bridge as a backdrop. I hope they come out. Going to do a little work today, and hopefully BBQ on my new gas grill on Monday.

Gonna try to get Grandma to watch the kids tomorrow night so I can see the Da Vinci Code.

Sounds great! The weather in the Bay Area has been really nice lately!

Tomorrow I have a church retreat with food, games and fellowship.

Have fun and be safe everyone!

Those in the Bay (well, East Bay) shouldn't pass up San Ramon's Art & Wind Festival at Central Park... food, wine, live music, arts, crafts, paintings etc., and KITES. Lots and lots of KITES.

Drove home from the Nascar race today. Listened to a ton of tribute music. Loved it. The troops at the race last night were amazing and got a great salute. Thanks to all our troups!

Went grocery shopping today.

Though I did spend some time browsing various military-related blogs and other military-related web sites.

Someone sent this to me today in email and I thought it really summed up the day:
Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American G.I.

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Thank them both today.
