Hi everyone!
I came about finding this nifty site from the Disney cast members livejournal community, how wonderful! Glad to see there are plenty of Disney lovers out there! As for an introduction I'm Jamie a Disney lover of course! and a CM at Soarin' in Epcot. Nice to meet you all!

Welcome, baffledportrait! Wow, that is one hard name to type. Anyhow, I just returned from a vacation to Disney World and Soarin' was fabulous! I adored the ride in California and love it just as much in Florida. Could be because it's exactly the same, but it just couldn't get any better.

Hello baffledportrait. Its always good to see CM's on the site. I was really disappoint when i was last in Florida, the Soarin' Ride in Epcot allowed previews just before the end of our holiday, but always managed to be not working or finished for the day when we were in EPCOT.
I have riden the ride in California though. Its a fantastic ride.
I'm very jealous, being a CM sounds a great job!

Hey there ho there. Were you working there in mid October? Like Sarah turp said It's nice to see another CM on the site (I'm not one but just saying).

I actually started there rat the end of October, my first day was Oct. 29th.

Darn would have to be after I left. I was down there during WILMA's fly over and left on the 25 after extending my trip because of the Hurricane. I was at Coronado Springs hanging out with several CM from AK.
You plan on being there in OCT. this year?
P.S. No more H words this year please mother nature.

Dr, were you hanging with any CM's from Coranado? A tall manager guy named Nathan perhaps? He's my cousin

No, they were all Ak CM's, 3 were Vets and 2 were Ground Crew. It was cool to hear about what the game plan was for the hurricane clean-up.
