Finals are Evil

Post by Esmeralda » Dec Thu 15, 2005 9:13 am

My finals officially start today. The last minute studying shows that I still don't know half of what I need to  Wish me luck!

That's why I never liked finals either. I have a few weeks to go until mine though. Curves are what save you, I find. Especially the Bell curve I had for one of my stats classes.

I only had one class to worry about and it was on Monday. Japanese class, Yokatta!

Lucky you.

Sounds like my course load next semester, I'll be having one final. American Popular Culture. Yes.

I just finished finals today!! Woot! This semester has been the worst semester in my entire college career. I had so much homework and writing assignments. I just want to burn all my textbooks in a bonfire or somthing. Luckily I'm taking a break next semester, but I'll be back in the fall *cries*

As of now I'm taking Hist. of Film form 1960- present, it doesn't start until march and History to 17??, which is mostly no homework. I had this teacher before.

And hopefully Japanese 2.

I love end of the semester bonfires! It's cold enough to need a nice warm book fed fire right now too. Back to the land of studying. Only three more days till I'm done!

My finals actually went really well, I'm happy. Mostly happy it's over, but happy with the results none the less.

I don't have to start next semester until Jan 18th, though, so I've got a niiiiice long bonfire planned ;)

Finals are coming to a close for me. I'm sure that bonfire would be twice as big if I threw my massive books in there! Let's go for it!

Sounds awesome. I know I should sell my books back, but throwing them in a fire and watching them burn is so much more satisfying. Too bad it just started to rain here though.

Just make it a greasy bookfire, the rain will do nothing!

Quick! rub bacon grease all over the calculus book!

I'm so glad I no longer have finals, first winter without them in ages for me! We always wanted to have some fun with our books, make "scientific experiments" out of how fast they'd burn or explode using gas, fireworks, dynamite, etc. And they always say "Thanks for coming to class and happy holidays" as we all want to yell "happy holidays THIS!" and hurl 20 lbs books to the front of the room except that grades still aren't final - bummer...

Get $5 back for a $125 book or give the book what it deserves... Hmmm - hard decision. Now where's the lighter?

I keep using the books. I have used a friends old book, or I will lend them out. if it's a book on a certain subject, or a novel I like it goes into my bookcase as a permanet member.

Last final ends at 12:30 today. Everyone ready with their lighters? It is time for a giant bonfire in the snow! What a perfect way to start the holidays.
