Somehow we've made it to the end of another semester. Time sure seems to fly by. Good luck to all who have finals!

My DSs are in JH. Their finals are right after TCAPS (Tennessee FED test). They get about two and a half weeks of test. No pressure here!! They've been a little snippy lately.....I don't why!!! LOL!! They'll be OK!!

Are you going to be a pilot then or something else to do with flight?

Ooooh... I remember people who wore cords at my graduation. They was the smart ones! (me and my 2.19 BAC... err, I mean, GPA... had no cords)

Oh man, that brings back so many memories of chilling on the campus mall making fun of all those people in their dorky tarps

I went with the Muppet shirt instead to the ceremony thing for our dept. I was a bit of a rebel - ticked the dept. head off but the others liked it! Congrats on getting out alive, now go commandeer a plane and go on vacation!

And good luck to everyone else who still is suffering thru the exams!

I just can't wait till finals are over, I only have two but after this semester, I won't have any exams until next January.

Actually my celebration was a trip to Ireland, my best buddy from high school who also graduated decided we wanted to go somewhere in Europe, since I had never been out of the country. Just to let everyone know, my plans after college are currently to be a flight instructor teaching people how to fly airplanes until I have enough hours to move on to the commercial aviation industry, I'll have to start at a regional airline and work my way up from there.

Just an interesting note, since I don't think anyone noticed is that I am wearing two pairs of wings. The one on my right side is the pair I recieved from my college for graduation. The one on my left side are Soarin' over California wings with my name on it. I had left my college wings at my parent's hotel room, so when I left for the ceremony, I told myself I was at least going to graduate with a set of wings showing my distinction as a pilot. Thankfully my brother showed up at the last minute and also provided me with my official wings, but still I at least showed my Disney pride on one of my most special days!!!

Congratulations to you all! Our students here are finishing up this week too. It is the best time of the year when the students leave. No offense to any of you students, it's just that our work load decreases by 60% over the summer. Them dang kids break things all semester long and we have to fix it right away. Summer is great only the faculty and staff and most of them are on vacation at varying times.

I really hated school. After 17 years, I really didn't want to see a textbook ever again. I admire people who go on to further their education and work towards a Master's or a PHD, but blueh.

Finals were awesome, though. That strange mixture of wired anxiety with no sleep and the knowledge that after it's over...it's over. It is no more...the class, the semester. Awesome.
