They have hitting and fielding (pending injuries) but they only have one good pitcher in their rotation. Maine is not a good number 2. He is more like a 4 or 5, Pelfrey is also a back of the rotation starter, and Perez should not be pitching. He is too inconsistent. I don't foresee a surprise season from the Mets. I do think that the Yankees will get it together. Remember how bad they started off the 2009 season?

I agree Len. Just one of 162.

But if I were a gamblin' man I would bet dollars to donuts that the Fan is burning up today with callers PO'd at Girardi and calling for Cashman to blow up the bullpen and start over.

I know if the Sox were kept silent like they were in the early part of the game (one hit through the first five innings) WEEI would taking calls from everyone saying "see, I told you the offense was going to be an issue." As it is they are calling for Lowell to DH instead of Ortiz. And Boston won!

The Braves ate the Cubs up!! Thanks to the Braves, Carlos Zambrano has started out the season with a 54.00 ERA! GOTTA LOVE IT!!

And what's up with pres Obama throwing out the first pitch in NATS stadium with a WHITE SOX hat on??? I KNOW he's a fan but leave it in the stretch limo for 5 minutes...

That was FUGLY!! It could be a long cold season in Nationals stadium. I'll pray all your players show up by the All-star break!!

We're coming to a city near you! The Nat's stadium is where teams go to get healthy. It's gonna be where the Braves can go to improve ERA's and batting averages!!! We'll pray for you!! ;+>

We will have just finished flossing our teeth after chewing through the Yanks a week or so prior...(must have proper digestion, you know
