Favorite Ice Cream?

Peppermint Stick is my favorite. My second favorite is Mint Chocolate Chip.

Lucky for you, it's the time of year when Publix releases their holiday flavors. We are officially to the time of the year where scales do not exist, so it is off to the store for some eggnog ice cream. Let's just hope the pants still fit when the scales return.

Actually, Publix sells Peppermint Stick year round now. I guess they finally realized that, since they always sell out of it during the holidays, that producing it year round would be like printing money.

I like Cherry Garcia, but I'm not a fan of the chocolate chunks (I've never been a chocolate fan - I'm the shame of the family in that respect). usually, I'll pick out the chocolate as I'm eating it. if it were just the cherry ice cream with cherry pieces, I'd be in heaven.

I just discovered a new favorite: Thrifty's Butter Pecan and Black Cherry together. They have such a sweet taste that I'm so addicted to.

I love Publix's "Otter Paws" ice cream, but I guess that is just because I am obsessed with otters and think that is it cool that they have an ice cream named after them!

But since I dont usually shop at Publix, I would have to say my favorite is Breyer's Reese's Peanut Butter and Chocolate.

Cake Batter, Karamel Sutra, Chunky Monkey, Phish Food, Cherry Garcia, Brownie Batter, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (regarless of brand), Cinnamon Buns, Everything But The... (on rare occasion), Half Baked, Mint Chocolate Chunk, Stephen Colbert's AmeriCone Dream, Strawberry Cheesecake, Peanut Butter Cup, Turtle Soup... just off the top of my head.

I'll have to go with Haagen Dazs Chocolate Peanut Butter. I treated myself to some yesterday thanks to my root canal. It was fantastic!!!

I've never had Haagen Daz's version. Is it like Baskin Robbin's version, with the peanut butter in chunks in the ice cream (like a ice cream Reeses cup) that melts together in your mouth with the ice cream, or does the peanut butter have a crunchy coating around it (more like Reeses pieces imbedded in ice cream)?

PB&Chocolate is my favorite flavor, too, but it must be the former kind, not the latter. The latter doesn't really melt in your mouth the same way.

My favorite is black cherry ice cream with brownie bits in it because it's a good combination, i like black cherries as well as brownies. You can get it at maggie moo's. It's hard to find at other ice cream stores.
