We don't have one in Tennessee either.

Right now in my city, our gas is about 2.60ish a gallon right now and I'm sure it will be dropping within the next couple of weeks.

Alachua County also has the highest gas tax in the State of Florida. So that doesn't help.

well, it was announced on our local news that we've surpassed San Francisco as the highest gas prices in the country right now. lowest I've seen in our area is $2.75 for regular. a couple of the carwashes in he area that also have gas pumps offer about $.05 off if you get a carwash too, but the washes cost about $10.00+ themselves, so that throws that idea out the window...

In NJ, regular is nearing the $2.00 mark. The cheapest I have seen is $2.05 for regular. Premium is still gonna run around $2.39. So far gas is down around $1.70 - $2.00. Let's just hope it keeps going down!

I'm hearing that OPEC is planning further production cuts, which is bound to make gas prices go back up a bit. I hope it doesn't climb too much.

I seriously doubt it will have much effect. The main reason gas keeps falling right now is due to a big decrease in demand. If the supply is cut, the price might go up again, but there will even less demanded which can lead to further price decreases. All in all, OPEC can't raise the price that much.

The news said that OPEC's ship were having a hard time finding ports right now. It seem demand is very low.
Chattanooga has gas today for $1.89.

Wow. I honestly thought I wouldn't see gas under $2.00 again, or at least for a really long time. I personally have not seen it under $2.00, but as of last night, I saw it at $2.06 and seeing that it's $1.89 in other parts of the country is a really good sign!

I'm almost local to you. I'm sure your gas will be under $2 pretty quick. :goofy_bounce:

Is the snow and cold affecting the price? I mean with heating oil and such.

who knows. it's snowed all of once so far (anything that's actually hung around for more than about 3 minutes, that is). in our house, we don't use heating oil, we just use natural gas for our furnace.
