Just remember the Mets have played division games already. As stated the 4-1 record against your braves and let's not forget the shutout sweep of the Philthies. Also Mets went 3-3 against the Yankees this year and should have won more, but they kept handing the games over to the yankees.

Come on back!! You're gonna wish you got more of the Yankees!! Maybe Chipper should bring his son Shea?

Jacca just has to avert attention to the AL as he doesn't want to face the fact that his Bravos play the Nats starting Monday.

Still a half game out. Mets didn't deserve first place tonight after not getting a run across when you are in the bottom of the seventh with bases loaded and one out. You can't blow chances like in what is shaping up to be close and tight division and wild card races.

Starting left fielder out with cracked ribs since April. Lost the starting second baseman to a broken foot and now the starting catcher to a broken thumb. They have been missing their opening day starter for the better part of two months and their valuable fourth outfielder who had several clutch hits in the first two months of the season is out. Their current starting left fielder was cut from his college team and begged to stick around as equipment manager (washing the unis) just to be able to stay around the team and use the cages.

All of this and they currently hold the WC lead in the AL and are tied for the third best record in MLB. They also have scored the most runs in MLB.

I present to you the Boston Red Sox.

A quick little glimpse into my baseball life:
We just finish a series with the Royals in which we take 2 out of 3. We have the worst team in baseball (Orioles) on the schedule after that... cake walk, right?

Friday night... Nats lead 6-0... Lose 7-6
Saturday day game... Nats lead 5-0... Lose 6-5... anyone guess what happens on Sunday???
Sunday day game... Nats lead 3-0... Lose 4-3
