Finally, some help is on the way for my NATS! Tonight is Stephen Strasburg's first start in the Majors. If he is half of what they are bragging about, then the NATS will be greatly improved. Maybe we can win back-to-back games for the first time this year! ;)

Yes, good luck with Strasburg! I'm interested in seeing how he does as well.
Also, in coming years, you will have the talent of homeboy Bryce Harper. Congratulations! (I will probably follow his career since he is a Vegas boy.)

He might be doing amazing, but the important thing is how will he be three weeks from now when he is pitching every 5th-6th day and the scouts figure out his style. Also it was the Pirates. However that was a very impressive first start.

Len - Don't you rain on my parade... We haven't had ANYTHING to get excited about in NATStown since the team came to town. 14 strikeouts is amazing for any pitcher in the MLB no matter what team they are facing. I know I am a little biased, but it was pretty impressive. 91mph changeup... wow.

I'm not doubting that the kid has stuff. I caught the highlights and he looked amazing. I just hope that he is the thing to get your team going and will fill the seats in DC.

As for my Mets 9 straight wins now at home thanks to a MONSTER walk off home-run by the rookie Ike Davis.

The kid is for real! NaCler, hopefully the summer will be a bit more exciting now for Nats fans.

And we'll see what Len says when he fans a dozen or so Mets!

He should be able to get David Wright about three times. The guy leads the majors in K's.

I was thinking Jason Bay! I watched him carry his own bat back to the dugout several times last season @ Fenway.

They reported that the Cleveland Indians sold 3,000 tickets today. The reason... it's Strasburg's next start. Nice to see he's getting fans of other teams excited as well!

Also nice to see that Philadelphia sent the Iron Pigs to Fenway for the weekend. 12-0, end of the third.

   Yeah, we saw the end of that game last night! We could not believe it!

Of course we were also trying to catch glimpses at all the other games as well...all while waiting for our beloved Angels game to start.
(my boys won in honor of my birthday...how sweet!)
