I was slightly shocked to learn that Mark Teixeira was only the second Yankee to ever hit three home runs in a single regular season game.

Wait is it still baseball season? The Mets are falling faster than the speed of gravity and it is crisis time right now!!! I just hope they don't get completely humiliated by the Yankees this weekend.

All I know is that it felt great to be a Mets fan this past weekend.

I will say this: It was one of the best subway series set of games that have been played in a long time. There was some amazing pitching, the games were competitive and the overall atmosphere seemed fitting. I can't wait to see the set at Yankee stadium in June.
