So no Americans have died from this flu, yet.
At the end of the day, isn't that all that really matters?
(Sorry, I assume you didn't mean it that way...it's just a funny statement. It reminded me of the Onion News Network: "The equivalent of five Americans were killed in Afghanistan today...")

Shh, I like to believe they kill as much as possible.

By way of an update, the CDC claims as long as the alcohol content of the gel is 60% or higher, it should be effective in killing influenza. So check the label and you should be okay. Except for the part where the touch transmission is much less likely than airborne droplets. *cough*
We were just joking that the Purell work provided has 62% - we're two percent safe. Huzzah!

Only Mexicans have died. Others have gotten real sick but have gotten better. Roughly 30 thousand people die a year from the "regular" flu. Why haven't we heard any screams of "pandemic" in the past, as the flu spread from state to stae, and country to country. This Swine Flu has claimed seven lives according to WHO. (Mexico claims 150) I am tell'n you guys, something isn't adding up.

Actually, it was an illegal, Mexican allien, who spent time with it's mother in the Houston mall, before decideing to go to the doctor. Then it was too late.

Official: Toddler who died of swine flu visited crowded Houston mall before hospitalization
(I can't find the part about the "illegal")

*To clarify, I was discussing a theory I heard about the media and the government. It's not my own theory. Second, it does matter that Americans haven't died from this flu yet. Please don't read into my comment in a negative way. I'm not saying those who have lost their lives to the swine flu are less important than American lives. Everyone is human. I meant that the virus doesn't seem to be as deadly in the US. Im concerned about my own safety here. I'm getting ready to go on a seven day trip to California where several cases have been reported. I'm trying to get all my facts straight about everything.
