It is currently 77 degrees in Florida. August 12 and it is 77 degrees. This is a really weird summer. We should be in the nineties with a heat index in the 100's. I don't know about the rest of the world, but global warming seems to have forgotten us in Florida.

it's been cooler here too - mid 70s when we should be 15 degrees warmer. It's also been REALLY wet, with thunderstorms every day/every other day

Yeah, I asked that question this morning when I walked out the door and actually had to keep the windows only cracked since the breeze was so cool. It had to be around mid to upper 70's by the mid afternoon. I just don't understand how it was 100+ before humidity in June and is in the 70's during August.

We haven't been 100+ all summer, which is really odd for us. We are usually sweating our butts off the last week of July through the first three weeks of August. I think it's like that move, the Day After Tomorrow

Here is Sacramento it has been in the very high 90's to low 100's, supposed to be in the 100's this weekend, and there has been hardly any breeze at all. Good thing my air conditioning works really well. Looking forward to going camping at the beach next week, as it has been quite cool there this past week & is supposed to be just as cool next week. Here's hoping the weatherperson is right this time.
