sockfire

Post by sockfire » Jul Thu 20, 2006 7:11 pm

Well, "sockfire" should be pretty self-explanatory. Yeah, right.

Kind of like Sub, I was once known as "sockface" when playing computer games. Then when I tried to create my AIM account, I was upset to find that someone on AOL was using "sockface". I sure wasn't going to be "sockface2". I still wanted to be "Sock", but I also wanted to kinda crank it up a notch. So now "Sock" is on "Fire". LOOK OUT! 8)

mine's pretty simple. JS is my initials (first and middle or first and last, either works). 3901 is a reference to my address at the time I created it. The name was originally used as an AOL screen name, then I got rid of AOL and was able to put the name on AIM. I've also used it for username on most sites and programs (like livejournal, myspace, etc). I've been using it for so long, I can;t think of anything else to use...

At work I would jump around(not literally) from machine to machine and they started calling me the Hopper Guy. Because I would get the jobs done faster then anyone else there.

What a fantastic question! It took me a long time to figure some of yours out (especially AKLRULZ for some odd reason), but mine is pretty straightfoward unless you've never been to Disneyland. Esmeralda is the lovely fortune teller on Main Street. I have to get my fortune told by her each time I go to Disneyland. She's such an inspiration!

TQM = Timothy Q Mouse

Ever since I was a kid, he's been one of my favorite characters. On a couple of forums, I am actually "Timothy Q Mouse," but then it got too long to type out :lol: Besides, TQM is just cryptic enough.

Cheshire Cat and Mock Turtle were screen names I've always used. I chose Cheshire Cat for this site because the Mock Turtle never made it into the Disney movie :(

I'm also from Cheshire Connecticut :ccat:

I always thought your name was refering to goofy whenever he got caught in an explosion, he would leave behind smoldering shoes with the socks straight up that floped down after a second. Dude, some of the magic just died....
Yes, this is my happy place! Well, when not in my happy place.

It's official, The family is visiting Disneyland in October!

SLO is an acronym of the city I live in, and TOFKIT letters from my first and last name. Not too original, but as others have noted about theirs, it's easy to remember.

This is a really interesting Topic to see what everyone's screen name means. But mine was kinda boring but I use it for almost everything. TTFN
