Lol thats stinks! Your one of the Admins of SR! Why don't you ask them to unblock it or did you get in trouble for listening to it and they blocked it?That's pretty mean of them! :( This site rocks! Just DISNEY music! Which is my favorite place in the world! :D

I'm a Executive Assistant at one of the largest companies in the world headquartered in NY. I used to work for PricewaterhouseCoopers and we were sold over 3 years ago to a large computer company. Nice thing is I do get discounts on computers and computer products and I am allowed to share my discount with family and friends. If anyone is seriously interested in a ThinkPad or such at an employee discount, send me an email and I will forward the information to you. I am allowed to give 10 discounts each year.

rudekick: Congrats on your law degree. Best of luck to you in your new profession!

Bostoncq: What's so bad about the east coast? I love to visit the west coast, but know I could never live there! I guess I just have too much NY blood running thru my vains.

Foldmama, there is nothing wrong with living here (East Coast) I happen to love Duxbury and all the things to do in and around New England, but all my family is on the West Coast and it was where I was born and raised, I kinda enjoy the laid back atmosphere. Sometimes up here its always rush, rush, rush, get outta my way!!! You know how Bostonians drive  I just get tired of the aggressiveness of the East Coast, and the snow, I am not a winter sports person. Of-course I am limiting it to my experiences. My boss was born and raised here and would never consider leaving. He played professional hockey so he has traveled all over and ended up right back where he started from. So I think it's a matter of what you are used to. I have only been back here 3 1/2 yrs. I am sure it will grow on me :D

Hi Bostoncq: I give you so much credit for moving away from family and friends. I believe that's one of the hardest things to do. I must admit that being from NY I have a lot of that rush, rush in my system. Plus, I worked in Manhattan for over 30 yearrs so I toally understand what you are saying. It's really funny because one of the things I don't like about the west coast is the slower pace. I guess it's totally what you are used to and have grown up with. I would like to move to Orlando when I retire in about 15 to 17 years (work at Disney for the fun of it :) , but I'm not sure I could move away from the family that I have here.

So, how's that solo trip planning coming! I'm leaving this Sunday! Can't wait to get there so stressed from work and that rushed life I live. Hum, maybe I should consider the west coast

Foldmama, LOL, I do have to admit that when I went home not this easter but last easter I met my then boyfriend in San Diego, we were staying at this really nice hotel, we went to check in and OMG they were soooooo laid back and slow I was going insane!! I said to Franklin "this would never fly in Boston!!" So I do like my rush rush life when it is convenient for me :D Can't we have the best of both worlds!! ha ha

Living up here without my family and friends is VERY tough, my homesickness is setting in big time! My boss needs to pay me more so I can fly home (So. Cal) at least every four months for a long weekend!!

Have fun on your trip and give us a report on how it went as a solo traveler!! We will definately have to plan a solo/singles trip for 2007! I can't afford one this year, and after all it's all about ME...ha ha ha

I'm a Webmaster (great title huh? All I need is a cape and a sidekick!) for a College outside of Boston (Work in MA.. Live in NH! Live free or die!) I also teach dance (Tap & Jazz) in a small Dance Studio in southern NH.

The east coast is pretty cool.. especially the Northeast.. I mean we have FOUR seasons here! Where I live is pretty cool... 1 Hour to Boston (and work). 4 Hours to NYC, 2.5 hours to the "Beast of the East", KILLINGTON VT! and 1 hr to the NH Seacoast! Anyway... I'm on the same side of the ocean as WDW!
