Don't remind me of Suzyn. I still remember her over excitement in telling how Roger Clemens was in George Steinbrenner's box announcing his return to the NY Yankees. It was the funniest thing I ever heard. I actually enjoy the the funny sayings that Sterling has for each Yankee homerun.

They are quite a pair. What does one of the columnists in NY call them..... Ma and Pa Yankee?

One of the funniest things I heard last year was Sterling calling a homer by Matsui and then he breaks into his ARod HR speil: "It's an AAAAbomb, from A.... well it would have been if Alex had hit it...."

I can't even stand listening to Suzyn and I am a Yankees fan. I like John Sterling's calls, but I think he is becoming a bit forgetful. The YES network announcers are pretty good.

As for sibling rivalry, there is not much of that.

Somebody please call the Country Club of the South and have them page the Braves!! I don't think anybody has informed them that the Baseball season has started. They seem to be on the links and not the diamond!

100% correct. I am happy to see them wining, but I will not post any smack talk about them either. It has been a rough past 4 seasons with the last three just devastating.

My favorite from the AP game report......

The Braves lost 10 straight in 2006-- they can match skid Friday night at home against Houston.

Like it's an accomplishment.
